Basically I am trying to change the password of QQ Client when I am using Free Wifi at Coffee Bean today. What the text is saying is “The IP you are using to change the password is not the usual IP you are using. Please change your password in places where you use the client most, like your office or home”

I am very surprise + impressed at the security model the Chinese are offering. Most of the time the usual security (which is not much) is asking the user to retype his/her old password and then the new password. This will fail if the hacker/malicious code is using key-logging  or somehow they managed to coerced you into giving away password. However, by using IP check, this will never happen. On the other hand, it ‘remember’ several places where you frequently used the client, like home or office, so it fixed the inconvenience problem. End of the day, not much people like me will try to change password on a free unsecured Wifi connection anyway =)

2 days back @Bokcoli was demoing Enso to me. Enso is a ‘humanized’ UI to your windows box. Basically you press cap locks and type command like ‘pause’ to pause a music, ‘open firefox’ to open firefox. In return, I show them Quicksilver on mac, which basically do the same thing, and the conversation is as follow:

me: With QuickSilver you can do the same thing too
@bokcoli : with enso, you can type ‘close’ to close the application
me: Wow, let me try with ‘play’ and ‘pause’ on Quicksilver too. Wow, it works
@bokcoli : nice
me: Let me try to ‘close’. - It launches Colloquy instead
me: Ah damn. It must be configrable

* I try to see if I can configure Quicksilver so I can type ‘close’ and it close the current conversation

* @arulprasad joins in the conversation:
arulprasad: Dude, just press Ctrl + W.

I hope you guys get the joke =)

Seesmic has release a new Wordpress Plugin. Very nice, check it out here: http://wiki.seesmic.com/Wp-plugin

{seesmic_video:{”url_thumbnail”:{”value”:”http://t.seesmic.com/thumbnail/sZGSEiVRcD_th1.jpg”}”title”:{”value”:”Woot Seesmic Plugin ”}”videoUri”:{”value”:”http://www.seesmic.com/video/3RkZTXaRRE”}}}

Once these are integrated with Disqus + Friendfeed (which already we can see videos inline) .I can imagine the possibility in which in can bring conversations to a new level. One shortcoming is, now you guys got to endure my bad hairdo

Cmd + Shift + R has been my best friend in Flex development ever since I start doing development in Eclipse.  2 days back, i finally fallen to stupidity and upgraded my OS to Leopard. Now I am proud to say that I am part of the family that suffers from Keyboard Failure after sleeping

On top of that, Eclipse will crash everytime i tried to open a resource. A quick search reviews that it is a known bug: http://bugs.adobe.com/jira/browse/FB-10935

If you are looking for a quick solution, there is this JAR files provided by Andy Mcintosh, which works for me

That being said, I should not have  fallen for the reflective dock in the first place. Maybe the next step is to follow Aral Balkan
